关于NCEP数据的疑问

（2）sig995，应该指的sigma坐标系，是一个根据地形变化的坐标系，应该是跟surface有区别的，问我具体区别在哪儿，我也不是很懂。
（3）surface flux应该是指的各种地表通量。拿水汽举例的话，如果单纯的水汽只表示的水汽量，垂直水汽通量指的是单位时间内水汽向上输送的量，单位是kg/(m*s)和水汽的单位也是不一样的。
很多我也不是很懂，说一下我的看法，供楼主参考，有错误的话欢迎各位大神指正。

Temporal Coverage:
Daily and Monthly Values for 1948/01 - present.
Long term monthly means, derived from data for years 1981 - 2010.
Spatial Coverage:
2.5 degree latitude x 2.5 degree longitude global grid (144x73).
90N - 90S, 0E - 357.5E
Levels:
Surface or near the surface (.995 sigma level)
The variables on sigma level 0.995 are: air, rhum, uwnd, vwnd and wspd.
Also, precipitable water is included here, because it is a 3-D file on a 2.5 degree grid, but it is not a surface value, but rather for the entire atmospheric column
