    ＡＬＭＡＮＡＣ模型是美国农业部下属的草地、土壤和水分研究所的Ｊ．ＲＫｉｎｉｒｙ和Ｊ．Ｒ．ｗｉｌｉａｍｓ等人（ｌ９９２）在土壤侵蚀模型ＥＰＩＣ（Ｊ．Ｒ，Ｗｉｌｉａｍｓ等，ｌ９８４）的基础上增加了作物生长的详细成分研制而成的。

model now comes with a windows interface and uses the most up-to-date soil surveys from the NRCS WEB SOIL SURVEY.    Weather parameters are loaded with one click! To download the beta version, click on: GeoAlmanac

Note to current AutoAlmanac users: If you already have made any changes to the tillage or crops databases-to preserve your changes you must make a copy of your "almanac.mdb" found in the "C:\Program Files|Almanac\Databases\" folder.  This copy needs to be placed outside the Almanac folder and then recopied back once the newest version of Almance is installed.Also, be sure and read: Howtosoils.docNotice GeoALMANAC will only operate on XP and VISTA at this time, an upgrade for Windows 7 will be available soon.
For installing and running GeoALMANAC with an XP emulator, you must download a .net 2.0 Framework and also add the files: mfc71.dll, msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll to c:\windows\system32 in the virtual XP mode environment.**********************************************************
