Tools, Maps, Models and Data
Climate Analogues help identify and map spatial and temporal analogue sites across the globe based on multiple climate projections. They can provide insights into the vulnerability of crops to climate change and support field evaluation, using today's climate, of agricultural adaptation options for 2030 and beyond.

The Adaptation and Mitigation Knowledge Network lets you explore data from our research on climate change, agriculture and food security, alongside related multimedia such as video interviews with farmers and photos and blogs from field work.
CCAFS baseline survey data and materials
CCAFS is engaged in conducting baseline surveys at the household, village and organizational levels across the three target regions. The challenge is to design tools and instruments that adhere to the highest quality standards in data collection in order to allow for cross-site comparisons to be made. All information is made publicly available.

MarkSimGCM is a stochastic weather generating tool, which uses the well-known MarkSim application, a tool that generates simulated daily weather data specifically designed for use in the tropics, including rainfall, maximum and minimum temperatures and solar radiation. It provides files of daily weather data that are completely compatible with the DSSAT (Decision Support System for Agrotechnology Transfer) crop modeling system.
MarkSim_Standalone is a development of the new MarkSimGCM web application. It is designed for computer users who need to process a lot of data without the need for a user interface. The tool can generate multiple realisations of years of daily data: rainfall, maximum and minimum temperatures and solar radiation.
Downscaled GCM Data Portal The datasets contained in this website are part of the International Centre for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT) climate change downscaled data, developed in the Decision and Policy Analysis (DAPA) program. The data have been originally downloaded from the IPCC data portal and re-processed using an spline interpolation algorithm of the anomalies and the current distribution of climates from the WorldClim database developed by Hijmans et al. (2005). All GCMs presented here come from the fourth and third IPCC Assessment Reports, but in further updates of the webpage, only models from the 4AR will be kept.
AgTrials—The Global Agricultural Trial Repository is an information portal developed by the CGIAR Research Program on Climate change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) which provides access to a database of the performance of agricultural technologies at sites across the developing world.

Food Security CASE Maps
IFPRI partnered with StatPlanet to offer Food Security CASE Maps: interactive Climate, Agriculture, and Socio-Economic maps. These underlie the analysis in IFPRI's 2010 report: Food Security, Farming, and Climate Change to 2050.
