The University of Idaho seeks PhD students to contribute to integrative
research on water resources in headwater regions. The research focuses
on the headwaters of the Columbia River Basin and collectively seeks to
address changes in water resources and adaptation approaches. We seek a
PhD student to focus on the regional hydroclimate through various
approaches. Students will be part of interdisciplinary cohort of
students funded as part of an NSF Integrative Graduate Education and
Research Traineeship program (IGERT). IGERT students receive a stipend
of $30,000 per year for 2 years, plus tuition, fees, and insurance, and
participate in international field courses, internships. Students will
work with their advisors to secure the additional funding needed to
complete their program.
Review of applications will begin November 15, 2015.
Inquires can be directed to John Abatzoglou, <jabatzoglou@uidaho.edu>
