关于气溶胶间接气候效应的模拟,在wrf-chem的手册中表达为aer_ra_feedback=1(需要打开气溶胶的辐射效应)。但是这样模拟出的结果同时包含了直接效应和间接效应,所以为了单独评估气溶胶的间接气候效应,通常的做法是:
Evaluate indirect effects
control simulation (CNTL)
radiative experiment (RAD)
experiment with radiative and indirect effects (TOT)
indirect effects = TOT - RAD
今天晚上冲浪看到论坛上Mary Barth之前的一个回复颇有启发:
I recommend doing these simulations to understand the indirect effect of aerosols:
1. CBMZ-MOSAIC with 8 bins (aq). and aer_ra_feedback = 1 with "control" emission levels.
2. CBMZ-MOSAIC with 8 bins (aq). and aer_ra_feedback = 1 with "perturbed" emission levels, where perturbed is reducing or increasing emissions in the simulation from what was done in the first simulation. This is closer to reality but does not isolate the effect of indirect feedback because it does not remove the aer_ra_feedback effect. So the differences between simulation 1 and 2 are due to both indirect and direct feedback because aerosol concentrations are different between the two simulations.
It is okay to run those same two simulations with aer_ra_feedback = 0 to isolate the indirect effect. Eidhammer et al. (2014) did that, among other studies.

另外,关于其中提到的似乎可以设置aer_ra_feedback = 0,关闭辐射效应下直接模拟来分离?
